Hi, I am Ashley.
I love being in nature, watching true crime documentaries and eating carbs.
I also love to hear a good story. Your story. The one that you write every day. Some chapters of that story need to be documented, and that's where I come in. I photograph real people in a way that tells the stories of their life. Whether that chapter is two wonderful people beginning the rest of their lives together on their wedding day or a family wanting to remember the small stages of their kids in the midst of the chaos filled days. I capture it all.
Photographs are one of my favourite ways to preserve memories. I have had my camera in my hands for over 13 years now preserving those memories for my many clients.
My passion for photography evolved from a young age. I remember being a little girl, going through the many photo albums and boxes my mom had filled with memories. Like an avid reader does when they get stuck in a good book; it always felt like I entered into a whole different world when going through those stacks of pictures. I could smell the spruce tree my great grandparents had in their living room on Christmas morning in '79. I could feel the leather seats in my Dad's Dodge Dart he used to have. I could hear the crackle of the leaves beneath mine and my cousins feet as we played in the leaf piles when I was 3.
